- Thanh and Jennie || Engagement Session -

San Diego, CA

Sweetness must always be this good… Thanh and Jennie make life as a photographer easy – my essential job being, bring out the personality of a couple – and put it in a photo medium… Well friends, if you took a look at our session together – I’d say you’d probably gather: Fun, free, silly, follows posing directions only to a certain point until they decide to do what they like with it, and of course – just so plainly sweet… especially to each other:)That’d be about right;)Well, I had tons of fun with them in Balboa Park… Perfect day, perfect couple… hope you enjoy this set!

Next one is a favorite – and in their first set of poses of the day – they rock it like naturals:)

“Daniel, we wanna do a jumping shot”.. Well, yes… with you two it is definitely yes:)

So – explanation of this next set – I had them set up for a pose done earlier.. They were ready set and frozen just as instructed, then I started getting a bit picky, “move in closer, no a little more, okay back up, well I liked it just a bit further forward, but not so much….” Then they just kinda decided to take it all on their own and ran with it… they moved back and forth…. but just on their own, however they wanted to:)probably to help me out – you know;)just snap a bunch of shots off, one of ‘em has gotta stick:)

Outdoor photobooth:)

Another set – simple stuff – you know, my old stand-by… just hold hands, walk towards me, and don’t stare directly at me:).. you got it Daniel!  And here they go…

A little silly and a little sweet:)

And just one last one before we sign off – yet another pose that needs no direction;)

Thanh and Jennie – Vaness and I can’t wait for your wedding day!  We know it’ll be great;) Thanks so much for trusting us with your big day!

- Thomas and Maya || Engagement Session -

San Francisco, CA

The days don’t get better in the winter in SF:)Sunny and perfect, I met Thomas and Maya at Stern Grove… Our location was a surprise get-away in the middle of the city and served as a picturesque spot for our engagement session:) You two were really great and considering how quick we were moving you rocked the shoot like pros;) We strolled through the quiet grove through all our sets and I think we turned up with some fun stuff!  I hope you love ‘em!  Enjoy!

My favorite of the set… well I always say that as I write the blog and then I work through and find another one:) But this one is at least ONE of my favorites:)

Yup – another favorite below…

After finishing up at Stern Grove – we were fortunate to catch Baker beach just in time – as the sun was just about down, we spent a few minutes and got a few quick ones… like this other favorite of mine:)

I’ll leave you with just a little bit of the scenery as we walked away for the evening..

Thank you both for trusting me with your wedding day – Vaness and I can’t wait!  and of course for running all over the place with me on our shoot through the city!  I was outa breath!  Definitely out of shape, hahaha:)!  And a special thanks to my brother who decided to come along and help me hold my extra equipment… and even my camera on occasion:)

Maya - Daniel, you are a miracle worker. Thank you and your brother for your patience. Thom and I love the pics. There was not much sun for you to use, and yet, the shots are great. Thanks so much. Thom and I can’t wait for the big day. Regards to Vaness and God bless.
